of The Queer Love Project for reminding us of National Coming Out Day, first celebrated in 1988. Much has changed in that time, and as Jerry noted in his Chat thread, some aren’t receiving the message as a hopeful and welcoming celebration, but as a pressure to come out when they may not be ready or even feel the need.To everyone I say:
You are welcome in the Qstack community whether you declare yourself or not.

I have been thinking about this post since it was posted. Thinking of sharing my coming out story, or rather my wife’s, since it was my fault she had to.
